Dear Ashraf  Alshanti,

Thank you for your recent request to become a Cystic Fibrosis Member Association. The CFW board of Directors has reviewed your request and voted in favor of the CF Palestine joining the CFW international network of member countries.

As a first step to becoming a full member, we feel it would be most appropriate to offer your organization a 2 year Associate Membership. An Associate Membership gives your organization full access to our member network, medical advisors and international CF community. It will also offer you one free copy of the CFW newsletter issued 3 times per year and a one page information section on the CFW website. But, as an Associate Member you are not allowed to vote at the CFW Annual Business Meetings. CF Palestine must be a full member to have voting rights.

Associate members are only required to pay an annual membership due of 20 USD whereas a full membership would mean your organization would need to pay member fees based on your countries population, GDP etc. There is a formula in place and I will have our staff forward details to you if you wish to apply for full membership. 

As you are a new organization the CFW board felt you would most benefit from an Associate membership, working your way into full membership as you expand CF Palestine.

As a member of CFW, CF Palestine will be welcome at all our conferences, meetings and have access to our 62 member association. We hope you will find our resources useful to your efforts and we look forward to establishing a strong collaboration to aid you in your efforts to help people with CF in Gaza, Palestine.
